Guidelines for Volunteer Bakers

The Bakery is a big part of Boulder Mountain Handmade, as we take advantage of the expanded selling area at Boulder Elks Lodge. Because our new venue affords us much more space, we are seeking even more talented bakers to create an array of delightful goodies!

cakeSince much of the success in the presentation of baked goods lies in their decorative packaging, the Auxiliary will provide you with packaging materials upon request, we will package them for you, or you can be creative and do your own thing!

Your creative baking efforts can be directed to any of the following:

Homemade Candies; Cookies, Brownies or Bars; Cupcakes, Muffins, Scones, Cinnamon Rolls or Sweet Rolls; Quick Breads or Tea Breads & Coffee Cakes; Pies, Cakes & Tarts; Savory, Gourmet or Braided Breads; and finally Gourmet Popcorn.

Please note that baked goods can be dropped off on Friday, November 8 from 2 to 4 PM at Fire Station #1 in Pinebrook Hills, or from noon to 4 PM at locations in Boulder Heights and Carriage Hills. You may also drop off at the Boulder Elks Lodge on Friday, November 8 from noon to 6 PM  or on Saturday, November 9 from 8:30 AM to 4 PM, or on Sunday, November 10 from 8:30 AM to 10 AM and stick around to shop. Our bakers are some of our best customers!

We are not able to accommodate items that require special handling or refrigeration. If you are a gluten free, nut free or vegan baker please label your items accordingly. Shoppers appreciate an ingredient list on these items. No baked items containing marijuana in any form are allowed.

Remember that 100% of proceeds from The Bakery go to support of the Boulder Mountain Fire Protection District, North Boulder’s first line of defense against emergencies in our beautiful foothills!
